What is Auto Topup?

Auto Topup is a feature that allows Paystack merchants to instantly top up their balance by sending money to a dedicated bank account number. We generate this account number for your business and it's unique to you, this means any transfer made to it will always reflect on your Paystack balance. You can find your Auto Topup account number on the home page of your dashboard as illustrated below:

An important benefit of this feature is that it gives you another means of topping up your balance that is only limited by the volume you are able to transfer. This is ideal for merchants that need to top up large amounts.

Important to Note:

The Auto Topup feature is still in its pilot stage and is only available to a selected set of businesses on Paystack.

How does Auto Topup work?

It works almost exactly like a bank to bank transfer, so you can do this from your mobile banking application or wherever you can make bank transfers. You simply initiate a transfer to your customized bank account number that's been created just for your business. Once you send money to this bank account and it gets credited, the credited amount automatically reflects on your Paystack balance. 

This is a much more seamless way for our merchants to get their balance funded instantly at any time.
